Each STCV record has an identification number, consisting of a fixed prefix for all records in the STCV catalogue (<code>c:stcv:</code>) and a unique number within the context of the catalogue. In the context of the Brocade software, it is also referred to as the 'c-loi' of a record.
Each STCV record has its own permanent deep link which can be used to reference it from outside the catalogue. It is composed of a fixed prefix (<code><nowiki>https://anet.be/record/stcvopac/</nowiki></code>) and the unique identification number of the record.
A suffix with the language code may be included as well (<code>E</code> for English, <code>N</code> for Dutch or <code>F</code> for French). If omitted, the record will be shown in the default language (Dutch).
