It is possible to create as many collation fields as necessary by entering a number next to the bold 'Collatie' and then clicking on 'Extra collatie'. Unused collation fields will be removed again after saving the description. The order of the different collation fields may be changed by using the numerical field next to the italic 'Collatie'.
In the field 'type', the standard value is always 'normal'. This may be changed to 'oblong'. This field always has a value.
The 'pagination'-field is a free text field where information needs to be entered manually. It can accommodate lengthy paginations. In specific cases, this field may be left blank.
The field 'Bibliographical format' can contain a value (by selecting it from the list) or may be left blank. The latter happens in the description of multi-volume works, or when a correct format cannot be determined.
The field for the quire structure is a free-text field and is -unless in exceptional cases- always filled in. For some common special characters and the lay-out of text as superscript, the following codes need to be used:
